Guy Ritchie is more know has director of Snacht and Lock&Stock, but for me, Revolver is much more than those films with humor, drugs , bad guys and action. And yes, there is action, blood, bad guys and drugs in Revolver, but this film that is now for first time in Spanish's Cinemas offers something more than those films that made Richie a famous Guy.
I think that one day Richie wanted to make some different, he had a revelation, he exclaimed: "EUREKA" after some experiences that made change his mind. Richie wanted to tell us more than he used to tell in his particular humor films. And how he could tell those ideas? Only how Richie can: With bad guys, drugs, blood and action.
Therefore, this fantastic director ( that for me used to be a good director until I discover Revolver), made his tipical films, with a bad ganster that has been in jail for years had the first thing he wants is money and fuck who fucked him.
The film is a bunch of experiences which make us realice when we see the last part of the movie that those violent experiences are connected by one ( you can keep reading, it isn't a spoiler) characteristic of human being.
I liked, I really liked this film... But Richie, you have to do this cinema. I like RockNRolla, but you have proved that you can do more that humor and action films. Films with your touch, but with messages. Films not only to have a nice time.
